Am/Can Ch KushNivas' Take A Chance On Me TP CD Am/Can RN  (Teka)

(Ch. Piedmont's Talk Of The Devil x BPIS Can Int'l Ch. Khalsa's Fire 'N Ice CD TD CGN)

2007 has been a wonderful year for Teka, she saw two of her pups, Ashton and Cookie,  from her first litter enjoy success in the show ring, and then returned herself to the show ring to finish her American Championship.  Not just acquiring the necessary points to finish, but doing so with a Best of Variety and then following up with a Group 4 placement.

Teka is now home and working on her Obedience and Rally in between taking time out for another bout of motherhood.

(Am/Can Ch Khalsa's JustJoey x Am/Can Ch KushNivas' Take A Chance On Me CD Am RN)

Ashton has had a very exciting first year.  He obtained his Championship at 8 months, finishing with a Group 3, he then went on to numerous Puppy in Groups, a Group One, and then he took a Group Three and Best Puppy in Show.  Another proud moment came when Ashton went Best Opposite over other Specials and adults at a Group 6 Specialty and then took Puppy in Specialty.  It makes us wonder what the future holds for this wonderful boy.

2009 was a wonderful year for Ashton, he completed his American Championship, Owner handled!!!! Congratulations to his mom, Ev Sera.

(Am/Can Ch Khalsa's JustJoey x Am/Can Ch KushNivas' Take A Chance On Me CD Am RN)

Cookie, not to be out done by her brother, waited a little longer to finish, but finish she did and in grand style.  With two Best of Winners and Best Opposites and two Best Puppy in Breed, she was granted the title of Champion.  The following day, she again took Best Opposite, Best Puppy in Breed, Group and then Best Puppy in Show.

Cookie has now retired from the show ring (for now) and has become the farm girl she was meant to be.  Spending her days playing with her human kids, running through fields and just hanging out with her best friend, a goat....

Ch Aris Talisman of KushNivas (CGN)

(Ari)

(Am Ch Litilann's Book'em Dan'el x Am Ch Aris Blue Skies Jump For Joy)

KushNivas was fortunate to have another new arrival in 2007, Ari.  He came to us from Beth and Michael Harris.  He is truly a joy to have around.  He had two weekends at the shows, just to get his feet wet.  Well, he was not to be ignored, he came away on his seven month birthday with two points, beating Open dogs.

Ari returned to the ring early 2008, there he proceeded to collect his points,  needing just one more point for his Canadian Championship he headed to Phoenix AZ to see what mischief he could get into there.  Well he came home with five points including a major.  He was on his way towards his American Championship.

Still less only ten months old and requiring one more point to finish his Canadian Championship, he headed to Red Deer All Breed Show and the Poodle Club of Canada Western Regional (PCCWR).   He finished his Championship in the afternoon and then went on, as a Special, to the PCCWR.  There he surprized us with a Best of Variety (over a large number of lovely mature Specials) and Best Puppy in Specialty....  What a boy...

He is now home growing coat and ensuring all the girls adore him appropriately.  Watch for him to come out the spring of 2011, sporting his big boy clothes.
